A nonprofit, nonsectarian charity dedicated to helping young adults (NMD) who are in foster care.
Adolescence is a particularly vulnerable time for foster youth that are transitioning into adulthood as they are learning to become law abiding citizens. They are looking to belong somehow, and if family or community ties are weak, The future can be uncertain and dangerous at times for some of our youth in foster care. Seeing the glamorous life of crime as depicted in movies and music, they think they have no way out until it is almost too late. We are about giving young adults a second chance once they’ve had an encounter some form of trauma in there life. We strongly believe in turning young lives around.
Mary's Help is designed to provide trauma informed, culturally relevant and developmentally approriate services to our young adults/Non-minor dependents tha are in foster care system.
