Effective, One-on-One Help for Troubled Teens
Mary's Help Residential Group Homes offer individual counseling to give troubled youth insight into their problems.
Why Individual Counseling
Individual counseling enables the client (youth) to see how behavior patterns learned on the street can be self-defeating in the long run. Cognitive therapy teaches a new way of thinking about problems so the client can reason his way out of difficult and dangerous situations. By learning to think of someone other than himself and by learning empathy, a troubled youth becomes truly socialized.
